A 3D model is the basis for printing, milling and documentation. You do not need to have one ready. We can start from an idea, a photo, a sketch or a physical part.

What we can start from

The input can be a sketch, a photo, a description, dimensions or a 3D scan of an existing part. The more information you provide, the fewer revisions are needed. Some projects, however, need more clarification and consultation. We model in Autodesk Inventor.

Outputs by purpose

  • Models for production: parametric parts for CNC milling or moulds, in STEP format.
  • Models for 3D printing: prepared for FDM, SLA or SLS, in STL format.
  • Visualisations: realistic images of a product for presentations or an e-shop.
  • Personalised items: trophies, decorations or gifts designed to your wishes.
  • Model from a scan: converting a scan into a model suitable for editing or for making replacement parts.
  • Drawings: a 2D drawing from the finished model, if you need it for production by another supplier.

What the scope of work depends on

The effort depends on the complexity of the part, the number of components and the quality of the input. A simple part is modelled differently from an assembly with moving parts. We therefore assess the scope for each specific brief, and you can see an indicative price in the calculator.

Why model and produce in one place

When one supplier does both the model and the production, the model is designed from the start for the technology that will make it. This avoids errors when files are passed between companies.

Tip: If you also need drawing documentation, we can prepare it together with the model.
